Here's how you can take my fun 15min Watercolour Bookmark tutorial and make it for Father's Day (or any special occasion), even if you don't have all the supplies on hand! This is perfect for kids to join in and make themselves.

Tips for Father's Day bookmarks:
-
No watercolour paper? Use the thickest white paper you have (or even printer paper), but only use the techniques for the "dry" panels (panels 2 and 4). Cut the individual bookmark panels out and then stick onto a coloured cardboard strip at the end to round it off
-
Let the kids paint their own! For very little ones, tape off their paper for them (even straight onto the table) and then let them play. Press the A4 page under a pile of books if you need to flatten it, then cut them up and stick onto cardboard paper.
-
Write a special message on the front and / or back and most importantly - let them sign their names too!

Pick dad's favourite colours to make it extra special
