Shipping policy

How long until my order ships?

For in-stock items such as original artwork or other products (excluding pre-orders), please allow 3-5 working days from the time of placing the order before it will be shipped. Although I try and get your orders out as quickly as possible, I'm a full-time mom of two little ones handling all of these details personally, so I may need a few days to get your order packed and ready to go.

For items that are showing as "pre-orders" (in other words, the order is placed before the print or product is created), please add the time indicated on the product description to the above time of 3-5 days.

Prints

Prints are currently done on demand in batches every two weeks, unless a lot of orders are received. I’ve made sure these are of excellent quality and worth the wait, but please take this delay into consideration once you have placed your order. You will receive an email as soon as your artwork is on its way or ready for collection!

What are my shipping options?

Local (Pretoria, South Africa)

You can select “Pick Up” to collect your artwork from Die Wilgers, Pretoria (or arrange for someone to collect it on your behalf). You will receive a notification from us through Shopify once your order is ready for collection. I’ll send you a more precise address once your art is ready.

National (South Africa)

Deliveries in South Africa are arranged through ClickWay couriers, and are typically fulfilled by Aramex. Delivery is typically within 1-3 working days, although some lucky customers have received deliveries the next day across the country.

International

For international shipping (outside of South Africa), the cost given at checkout is a rough estimate based on the selected address. Should the final shipping quote vary significantly from this estimate, you will be notified first and the difference invoiced (or refunded) before sending your order. International shipments will be made via courier.

What will my order cost in USD/EUR/…?

All purchases are processed through the payment provider YOCO, which takes care of exchange rates as well. The exact rate you will get is going to depend on the rate your credit card provider uses when the purchase is processed.

I recommend using an online currency converter to get an estimate. I have included some example links below for reference, but you can change the amount or currency for your location once you are there. To start the conversion, choose “ZAR” (South African Rand) as your “From” currency. An example of a conversion site can be found here: https://www.xe.com/
